It has been so long since we’ve seen Tera Patrick in a boy/girl scene without hubby Evan Seinfeld (aka Spyder Jonez), that I almost forgot just how sexy she can be on camera. Vivid legend Paul Thomas takes the helm for this one, and it’s a movie that’s well-shot, well-written (by Toni G.) and has some great sex in it. In short, it’s Tera’s best movie in years.

The movie takes a look at the fashion world, but lest anyone think this is an attempt to rip off Evil Angel’s Fashionistas, Fashion Undergound takes a totally different slant on it. Tera essentially plays herself, except here she is one of the world’s best-known fashion models instead of one of the world’s best-known adult stars. While Tera gives a great performance here (in addition to reminding us how erotic she is, Thomas’ movie also reminds us that Ms. Patrick is also a fairly good actress), the best/most interesting one comes from Penny Flame, who plays a southern (including accent) reporter who begins the movie covering the fashion show, but by the end of the film has become a fashion model herself.

There’s a lot of sexual action in Fashion Underground, most notably Tera’s two boy/girl scenes – one at the opening of the movie, and one at the end. Her first scene is with Tommy Gunn at a fashion party that’s being thrown, and has her slipping out of a sexy black dress to reveal even sexier black lingerie. She sits on Tommy’s face to allow him to lick her out, then drops to her knees in front of him and gives him a nice blowjob. The two then go into doggy penetration on the floor; hop up to a nearby couch for some reverse cowgirl; then move back to the floor for some cowgirl. The scene wraps up with Tera masturbating for Tommy, and Tommy proceeding to jerk his load onto her tits.

The best scenes of the movie are the last two, starting with an extremely hot scene between Penny Flame and Chris Cannon in a hotel kitchen. Penny looks absolutely stunning in black lingerie and black thigh-highs, and the character she is playing is so naughty, that most viewers are going to have a hard time “making it” to the final scene in the film...which is another scorcher – this time with Tera and Jean Val Jean. The movie appears to have been shot (in a combination of both film and video, depending on the scene) with HD cameras, but hasn’t been anamorphically enhanced for this release – meaning viewers will be forced to watch a letterboxed version...really the only downside of this DVD release.

Extras on the disc include a nice 19-minute behind the scenes featurette; five bonus scenes taken from other Vivid releases (including scenes with Monique Alexander, Mercedez, Stefani Morgan and Briana Banks); slide shows; a text biography of Tera; and five trailers for other Vivid movies, including a sneak-peak at the upcoming Reign Of Tera 2.

Fashion Underground will remind everyone out there why Tera Patrick is one of the biggest stars in adult. It’s only a shame we couldn’t get this release a month ago, since I’m guessing it would have been nominated for numerous AVN awards. Regardless, it’s a DVD that you shouldn’t hesitate in picking up.

Ok, i must admit that i am an eye reader when i am talking with someone looking at his eyes. Knowing the way the other person thinks is important in enhancing the communication experience. When you are talking with another person, the direction of his or her eyes can give an indication of what brain processes are occurring in the person. You can determine whether the person is in a visual, auditory or kinesthetic mode of thinking. You can also tell if the person is making something up or recalling a past event. These signs can be useful in communication and interpreting what the person really means.

According to the science of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), people use three major modes of thinking: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Communicating in the mode of the other person can help you gain rapport and improve the exchange of information. You can get a good indication of which mode the person is in by observing his or her eye movement.

In the visual mode, the person thinks by visualizing things and events. He or she often describes things in terms of sight, saying such things as, "Do you see what I mean?" or "The way I look at things." By observing the person's eyes, you will see that they will often look upward to one side or the other when talking. Sometimes such a person will gaze forward, unfocussed. These eye movements are an indication of thinking in a visual mode. In the auditory mode, the person thinks by hearing sounds. He or she often describes things in terms of sound, saying such things as, "Do you hear what I mean?" or "The way it sounds to me is..." . By observing the person's eyes, you will notice that they will often look sideways, as if to one ear or the other. These eye movements are an indication of thinking in a auditory mode. In the kinesthetic mode, the person thinks by how he or she feels. Things or events are described in terms of feelings, saying such things as, "Do you get the same feeling as me about that?" or "The way I feel about it is..." By observing the person's eyes, you will notice that they will often look down and to one side or the other. These eye movements are an indication of thinking in a kinesthetic or feeling mode.

The direction the person moves his or her eyes can often determine whether the answer is from memory or not. It works the best with visual thoughts. A person will typically look upward to the left if reaching into memory and to the right if creating the answer or constructing imaged images. Although most people follow this left-right rule, there are some who are just the opposite. It is good to determine which is which before jumping to conclusions. You can find out the correct directions of a person by asking some leading questions like "What was the color of your first car?" to get a response from memory, and "What is your opinion of the President?" to get a creative response. Application of the knowledge of the other person's thinking patterns can enhance your ability to effectively communicate with the person. People are more comfortable talking with someone who is thinking in the same manner. If you observe that the other person is thinking in an auditory manner, your communication and rapport will be better if you also speak in such terms. Seeing whether the person is answering from memory or not can be effective in determining if he or she is telling the truth. If the person looked toward the creative side when answering a question that should be from memory, it could be an indication you were getting a less-that-truthful answer.

Now.... read my eyes in my last design above.
