As they would say: "When you try your best but you don't succeed, when you get what you want but not what you need, when you feel so tired but you can't sleep. Stuck in reverse." Well, yes, that's how i feel now. Next Sunday i will be flying to Damascus up there in Syria, to work for this guys and their GSM network. Considering that a couple of weeks ago, my company didn't allow us to travel there (due to a high risk situation) and they removed the restriction yesterday (funny) ... well....!! It is more because of my wife being alone with the baby we are waiting . I donīt feel like going up there. But it is a MUST.
Damascus is known to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. There is firm evidence that in the third millennium BC, Damascus was a population center of a civilization that was considerably prosperous and economically influential. The earliest reference to the city was found in the archaeological site of Ebla in 1975; where the word "Damaski" was found on one of the clay tablets. Some historians believe that the city actually dates back to the seventh millennium BC.
